Kathleen Denis

Kathleen is an award-winning artist inspired by South Florida, the Keys, and the Bahamas, known for capturing sunlit island life and coastal charm. She earned a BFA in graphic design from the University of Miami, blending strong foundations in composition, light, and color with a fresh, expressive style. Originally a leading licensed watercolor artist, her work appeared on home décor products sold at Bed Bath & Beyond and HomeGoods. Now working mainly in acrylics, she creates impressionistic and abstract paintings layered with texture and color. Kathleen teaches nationally and internationally, and her work has been featured in films, TV, and major publications. She is a member of the American Impressionist Society, National Oil and Acrylic Society, and an official U.S. Coast Guard artist, with collectors including Hollywood producers, corporate leaders, and political figures.
