Joe Nicastri

Joe Nicastri is an American painter and sculptor based in Miami with a distinguished career of over three decades. His work is included in major public and private collections across the country and has been shown in leading museums and galleries nationwide. Represented by prominent galleries in Chicago, Santa Fe, Boca Raton, and New York, Nicastri is also known for his notable portrait commissions and his long involvement with the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, where he founded the Fellowships in Visual Arts program. His acclaimed series Surplus of Memory, focused on human rights, has been exhibited extensively, with a significant portion now held in the permanent collection of the Florida Holocaust Museum.
