Marcelle Zanetti
Born in Massachusetts, Zanetti earned degrees in Painting and Art Education from the University of Massachusetts and Southern Connecticut State University. She moved to Stuart, FL in 1981, opening her first studio, and in 1983 her first major exhibition was described as a “Botanist Dream.” Over the years, her work has been shown at venues including the Florida State Capitol, The Society of the Four Arts, South Florida Science Museum, Barbara Gillman Gallery, Boca Raton Museum of Art, Marcia Wood Gallery, and Backus Gallery, and has been represented from Key West to Washington D.C. and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Zanetti’s paintings are also featured in public spaces such as Miami International Airport Admirals Clubs, One World Clubs, GRU International Airport in Sao Paulo, government offices in Palmetto Bay, and galleries in Tampa and Jupiter.
