Christine Anagnostis

Christine Anagnostis has been interested in the natural world since childhood. Upon obtaining a degree in Fine Arts from Florida Atlantic University, she received a significant educational experience with her apprenticeship to the artist, Joe Nicastri, whose talent and direction helped her to ground her ideas into a creative process. The intricate interrelationships of climate, geography, flora and fauna provide an endless source of subject matter for her work. The complex images she creates of trees, roots, and foliage are a metaphor for the human experience.
