For nearly four decades, Grove Gallery & Interiors has been a trusted destination for expert custom framing in Coconut Grove. Founded in 1986 by Frank and Sheila Kuhl, the gallery began as a family-owned frame shop rooted in craftsmanship, preservation, and a genuine love for art. Framing has always been the core of the business—designed to protect meaningful pieces while enhancing their beauty.

Originally from the Midwest, Frank and Sheila relocated to Miami in 1980 following Frank’s service as an Air Force pilot. After his retirement, they settled in South Dade and transformed Sheila’s background as a watercolor artist into a shared vision of entrepreneurship, opening The Grove Frame Shop, a modest framing studio on Bird Avenue.

What began as a small boutique framing space grew through loyal clients and word of mouth into today’s 15,000-square-foot Design Center. While the gallery now offers fine art, interior design services, furniture, décor, and custom window treatments, its reputation for exceptional custom framing remains the foundation—delivered with the same care, artistry, and personal service that defined its beginnings.
